FRONT ROOM ART GALLERY
where Fine Art feels like Home
Our focus is on highlighting contemporary work from artists in the greater Northwest region, with a large, though not exclusive, emphasis on Spokane and the surrounding area. We’re each passionate about work that shows a high level of professionalism and skill: strong material use, a clear and unique artist voice, and thoughtful presentation. Our overlapping and individual perspectives, as well as relationships with our artists, guide our selection and curation. We are excited to bring this energy to Front Room Art Gallery and downtown Spokane, creating a multi‑faceted gallery experience.
ABOUT THE GALLERISTS
Chelsea Cordova
Owner/Co-Director
Chelsea Cordova is an arts professional with more than twenty years of experience across the arts sector in the Coeur d’Alene, ID region. Bringing together classroom teaching, nonprofit arts administration, and nearly ten years of gallery operations, her expertise spans exhibition curation, event coordination, artist relationship management, and direct sales to collectors.
Since relocating to Spokane, WA in 2021 she is committed to contributing to the city’s growing arts economy and strengthening its commercial growth with her investment in this gallery and downtown Spokane. With parallel experience in arts business management and the perspective of a teaching artist, she brings a practical, informed approach to both creative and administrative work.
Kelly Baker
Owner/Co-Director
Kelly Baker brings over 25 years of professional experience in the creative and commercial arts industries, with a career spanning the curatorial department of the Corcoran Gallery in Washington DC, fine art and photography licensing in New York, and commercial photography teams in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Since returning to Spokane in 2016, she has helped launch Terrain's original retail arts space (The Pop Up Shop, now From Here), led creative projects with artists and design teams, curated art exhibits around the region, and served as a City of Spokane Arts Commissioner. Her current art advising practice connects regional artwork with individual collectors as well as the design and business communities. Her discerning eye, understanding of collector and artist relations, and passion for supporting artists form the foundation of Front Room's approach to representing artists at the highest level.
