Biography

Teresa Rancourt, a semi abstract painter, has lived her life loving nature and honoring the beauty of the Pacific Northwest and its varied environments. This is her inspiration; this is her love. While Teresa’s adult life was dedicated to a business career, she spent her free time studying various art mediums and simply creating as time allowed. In many ways, Teresa is a self-taught artist. Her studio started on her dining room table and grew over the years into a beautiful, open separate building devoted to her passion for painting. She uses various media in her work including collage, oil, acrylic, cold wax, and pastel. Teresa began showing her work in galleries in 2021 and with the attitude of “there is not time like the present” has had 2 solo shows, been in 25 group shows and been juried selected 7 times.
